Academic Resources

Academic Advising 

Academic Advising is offered to all students at McMaster and is a resource to help you navigate your academic needs as quickly and as easily as possible. You can make an appointment with an academic advisor Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm or use the Engineering Chat Bot to help answer general questions or the Virtual Helpdesk.

Tutor Ocean 

Tutor Ocean is an undergraduate peer tutoring service which has student tutors who have taken the specific course they are tutoring for and have received a high grade. It is an affordable way to get help in specific courses and easy to sign-up for.

McMaster Library Database 

The McMaster Library Database is a vast collection of books, articles, and journals that students have access to and can aid in their research assignments, homework, or projects.

The McMaster Engineering Society is a student run-club which brings awareness to engineering events, resources, and services. They hold many collaborations with various clubs in engineering to let students have the best experience they can receive at McMaster.

The Equity and Inclusion Office

The MES Equity and Inclusion Office provide support, consultation and education for students and staff to foster a campus culture that respects human rights, integrity, and dignity of all the community members.

Black Student Success Centre

NSBEMac is one of the Black-Lead official Clubs on McMaster Campus and affiliated with the Black Student Success Centre.

 

"The Black Student Success Centre is dedicated to supporting and championing the holistic (academic, personal and professional) success and overall well-being of Black/African descent students and fostering a positive Black student and athlete experience. The Centre is a safe space where students can meet, share, socialize and access specialized support and services."
